The letter from the National Park Service specifically mentioned the 336 Barnard project that we have been fighting, and which we believe undermines the integrity of the district. On January 26 and March 23 the City of Savannah Zoning Board of Appeals rejected our two appeals of the project. We allege the Board committed errors in doing so and are proceeding to take the case to the Superior Court of Chatham County.

We are seeking tax-deductible contributions to the Oglethorpe Plan Coalition to cover the legal expenses and related costs for our appeal of the decisions on 336 Barnard Street, as well as to fund additional preservation efforts.
